In the fall of 2007, Mike Hiscox purchased a very lightly used EarthRoamer XV-JP, the third produced.

During the winter of 07-08, Mike drove around and camped in the truck, and by the time spring came, it was clear that EarthRoamer’s original design and modifications weren’t suitable for his use.

Three talented fabricators — John Bendit (mechanical roof), James Lombardo (suspension, tent and mechanical) and Paul Jensen interior design and construction) separately and independently contributed to making this Jeep an extraordinary vehicle.

(above) The Jeep is a self contained motor home...Sleeps two, interior shower, toilet, 12 volt refrigerator, LPG stove, 26 gallons of drinking water (filtered) and 4 gallons of on-demand hot water, forced air heat, dimmable LED lights, 12 volt DC and 120 volt AC electrical, twin 4# propane tanks, air compressor, wall exhaust fan, insulated awning windows with built-in pull down / up screens and shades...
